This Privacy Policy explains how Live Beautiful collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data as a member of the Live Beautiful app. Live Beautiful is the data controller for the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Norway's Personal Data Act. Use of The Conversation feature is additionally governed by the Privacy Policy — The Conversation.

1. What Data We Collect

• Your name and email address, provided when you create an account.
• Your activity within the app, such as content viewed and progress made.
• Basic technical data such as device type and app usage patterns.

Payment and billing information is collected and processed entirely by Apple or Google, depending on which store you subscribed through — we never receive or store your card details.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your account and membership.
• To deliver the content and features you're entitled to as a member.
• To communicate with you about your account, and, where you've consented, about new content or offers.
• To maintain and improve the Service.

3. Who We Share Data With

We rely on third-party service providers ("processors") to operate the Service, including Apple and Google (for subscriptions and billing), our app hosting provider, and our cloud infrastructure and database providers. We share data with them only as needed to provide the Service. We do not sell your data.

4. International Data Transfers

Some processors may handle data outside Norway and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this occurs, we rely on the safeguards those providers make available for such transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your account data for as long as your membership is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for legal, accounting, or legitimate business purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR and Norwegian law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no), if you believe your data has been mishandled.

7. Cookies and Tracking

The app and website may use cookies or similar local storage to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Age Requirement

The Service is intended for users 16 and older; if you are between 16 and 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is aware of your use of the Service. The Conversation feature specifically is intended for users 18 and older only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger than the applicable age above.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
